White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced on Tuesday that President Donald Trump has accepted House Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) invitation to address a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28.
“As you may have heard, Speaker Ryan extended an invitation to the president to address a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28,” Spicer told reporters at his daily press briefing. “I’m pleased to inform you that the president has accepted that invitation.”
“I have a feeling by the time we get to Feb. 28, we will have a lot to talk about,” he added.
Ryan described the invitation in his weekly remarks on Tuesday morning as “an opportunity for the people and their representatives to hear directly from our new president about his vision and our shared agenda.”

I hope that this time, unlike the inauguration, all Democrats will attend. And get up and walk out when he starts to lie. Which means they’ll have to be there for a maximum of 30 seconds.
(Protocol dictates that those in attendance have to stand and applaud when the President comes into the room. But nothing says that their applause actually has to make any sound.)
He wants Dear Leader to lay down the law and tell everyone who is “good” and who is “bad” (democrats.)
He realizes that the only way for Trump to “get ahead of the story” of the flagrant, insane lies he is telling is to give him an even BIGGER stage to spew them from (and the resultant, fawning wall-to-wall media coverage it will entail.)
We are now seeing the “Constant Campaign” idea come to fruition along with the “BIG LIE” concept.
They need the BIG LIE shouted from the hilltops to drive it into the brains of the budding brown-shirts and encourage them to begin “spying on their neighbors” and “reporting Un-American activities” to the new/old FBI director and new CIA director.
America, it was a great idea while it lasted…
The State of our Union is carnage…
Will it be televised? If it is, will everyone be required to watch?
Actually they’ll be there for a maximum of -10 seconds.
