While Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has come under fire for the violence some protestors experience at his rallies, a former “Apprentice” contestant and Trump surrogate said she thinks protestors simply get what’s coming to them.

Omarosa Manigault, a contestant on the first season of Trump’s reality show and a surrogate for his campaign, appeared on MSNBC Thursday night and was asked by host Chris Matthews about about outbreaks of violence at Trump’s rallies.

Manigault took a similar attitude to Trump‘s when it came to protesters getting roughed up at the candidate’s events.

“Donald can’t be responsible for every single person that comes to his rally,” she said. “Listen, you have a right to go into a closed, private event and you get what is coming to you. I do not condone violence. If you go into an environment where you’re interrupting 13, 14 times, do you expect a hug or ‘Kumbaya’?”

When asked if Trump provoked his crowds, Manigault blamed it on those so-called New York values.

“He’s a New Yorker, what do you want him to say?” Manigault asked. “He’s not gonna be pushed around, Chris.”

Manigault also butted heads with Francesca Chambers, a Daily Mail reporter who appeared on the program, after she insisted that there have been violent incidents at the Democratic candidates’ rallies that have not been reported in the press.

“I typically cover the Democrats, and I have never seen that kind of behavior go down out of a Hillary Clinton rally or a Bernie Sanders rally,” Chambers said. “Sure, it gets fiery especially at the Sanders rallies. A lot of booing for Hillary Clinton quite often but, however, no one’s ever when I’ve been at those rallies been punched.”

“Okay. Thank you, Francesca, for that insight, but let me just break this down for you,” Manigault said.

“No, it’s called reporting,” Matthews fired back at her.

    Slutting for Trump…

  2. She looks like exactly what she is: a lying bitch. That particular expression is on the face of every really mean girl you ever knew in junior high school.

  3. She’s looking for a seat at the table if her mentor was to actually make it to the White House. We should probably expect to see a bunch of reality tv personalties in a Trump Administration. It wouldn’t be the first time. Look at Elisabeth Hasselbeck. She made it to the view and fox news. We all know how reality tv works. It pits people against each other and in the end someone survives. We are watching Trump try to do the same thing at his rallies. Time for the Republican Party to grow a pair. Stand up and be clear that if Trump is the nominee that you will vote for the other side or stay home. You may lose the battle, but if you are smart, you may come out on top in four years. Continuing to support this circus will only destroy the Grand Old Party.
