President Obama on Monday said that he does not need to make the case against Donald Trump because the Republican nominee does so himself every time he opens his mouth.

“Frankly, I’m tired of talking about her opponent,” Obama said at a Democratic fundraiser in Martha’s Vineyard, referring to Trump, according to ABC News. “I don’t have to make the case against her opponent because every time he talks, he makes the case against his own candidacy.”

But while Obama said that the case against Trump is easy to make, he warned Democrats that they still need to campaign hard for Hillary Clinton.

“If we are not running scared until the day after the election, we are going to be making a grave mistake,” he said, according to ABC News. “We are still going to have to fight what has been an unrelenting negative campaign against her that has made a dent in the opinion of people even who are inclined to vote for her.”
