Obama Signs Bill Approving Military Pay During Gov’t Shutdown

President Barack Obama on Monday signed a bill that would pay U.S. military members in the event of a government shutdown, which seems all but certain.

The bill, passed by the House and Senate, appropriates money to continue pay for military members even if the government’s other spending authority expires.
