Doctors analyzed how long presidents and prime ministers in 17 countries - including Britain, Canada, France, Germany and the U.S. - survived after leaving office, compared to the losing candidates. President Obama is expected to address Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s death in a press conference Tuesday afternoon in Rancho Mirage, California.

Scalia was found dead Saturday, kicking off a political firestorm from Republicans, who say they plan to block any nominee Obama puts forward to fill the vacancy.

Obama has said we plans to fill the seat “in due time.”
