House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) on Monday night said that Democrats want him to step aside from the committee’s Russia investigation because he is “effective.”
“I’m sure that the Democrats do want me to quit, because they know that I’m quite effective at getting to the bottom of things,” Nunes told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly when asked about calls for his recusal.
It’s not clear what Nunes was referring to that he thinks Democrats have a problem with.
The week after he came forward with the allegation that information on President Donald Trump and his associates was “incidentally collected” by the intelligence community, Nunes said Monday that he visited the White House grounds to meet a source about the revelation.
Nunes said that he needed to review the material on the White House grounds because Congress did not have access to the report.
“There was no sneaking around,” Nunes told O’Reilly.

Its nice to know that Hannity finally has some competition. Anyhow, that upcoming Thurs. hearing should be very eggciting.
Effective in much the same way as abstinence-only sex education is.
Or, effective as a massive dose of Ex-Lax.
… at being a douchebag that can muck things up fifty ways from Sunday.
Now that we know he learned to spread manure back home on the farm, it comes naturally to him up on Capitol Hill. He really should go back to being a farmer though. At least spreading that shit used to be considered good for something.
