“The Nightly Show” catalogued recent instances of Islamophobia in America after Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio insisted widespread discrimination of Muslims didn’t happen in the U.S.
The instances of discrimination included white men armed with guns walking around a Texas mosque to protest “the Islam-ification” of America, reports of religious garments being pulled off and a Nevada state lawmaker equating refugees with terrorists.
“So, Marco Rubio, next time you wonder why you don’t see Islamophobia in America, just open up your nocular cavity and take a look around,” host Larry Wilmore said.
