On the morning after Republican Donald Trump’s five-state primary sweep, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts delivered a resounding message to their critics: We were right about Trump this whole time.
“I hate to say it. We were right, everybody else was wrong,” host Joe Scarborough said Wednesday. “Everybody else was stupid, and they were wrong every single day. We were right.”
“So then they said, ‘Oh, you’re in the tank for Trump,’” he continued. “Hey, how about this. Let’s put this on a bumper sticker. We’re in the tank…for truth.”
Scarborough also said the morning show crew was right about Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) not being able to go the distance in the 2016 race.
The hosts have long been criticized for being too chummy with Trump. After Trump thanked the MSNBC talking heads for being “supporters” of his campaign in February, Scarborough launched into a nearly 10-minute defense of the show’s Trump coverage on-air.
The Republican frontrunner also phoned into “Morning Joe” on Wednesday to say he hadn’t yet “recovered” from Democrat Hillary Clinton “shouting” her pro-women message the night before.
JoeScar: We want to be the new FOX. God, I hope now they will hire me.
“I hate to say it. We were right, everybody else was wrong, bitches either be screeching in your ear or dropping dead in your office. Whatcha gonna do?” host Joe Scarborough said Wednesday
Congratulations, Joe. You were totally clued in on how racist your party was from the start.
“Nuh uh!”
“Was too!”
“Was not!”
“Was too!!!”
“You’re stupid!”
“No you’re stupider!”
“You’re stupider times ten!”
“You’re stupider times a bazzilon!”
“All right children, maybe when you grow up you can be television talk show hosts!”
“Kewl!”
“Yeah, kewl! Can I be the slutty one?”
“Which one is 'dat?”
“I dunno…both?”
“Kewl!”
I’m kind of imagining a Cold War Glienicke Bridge style prisoner exchange of Megyn Kelly for these two.
