Incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he liked the SNL skit of him and President Barack Obama getting drunk at the White House.

“I enjoyed the Saturday Night Live skit of me and the president getting rip roaring drunk,” McConnell said Wednesday at an event hosted by Politico. “My wife hated it.”

The skit was a spoof of the incoming Senate majority leader and Obama drinking one too many bourbons, and eventually getting along.

“I mean, you ever think about that, a black U.S. president with this country’s history? No one would have thought that,” McConnell (or rather the fake McConnell) said in the skit.

Watch the skit here.
