A Louisiana-based pollster recently addressed a political reality in his state that could be a bad omen for Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

“It’s a different world than Louisiana was six years ago,” Bernie Pinsonat said, as quoted in the New York Times on Monday. “We do not have Democrats who win anything in this state today.”

A poll conducted last month by Pinsonat’s firm painted a grim outlook for Landrieu, who is up for re-election in 2014. The poll showed a majority signaling that Landrieu’s support of Obamacare makes them less likely to support her next year.

Landrieu said last week that she would vote for the health care law again.
