Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Wednesday said that House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes’ (R-CA) meeting with a secret source on the White House grounds was “a breach of trust.”

“I don’t like what Nunes did, going down to the White House, seeing something nobody else saw,” Graham said on MSNBC. “I think that’s a breach of trust and he’s got to repair the damage. I don’t know if he can or not.”

Nunes on Monday confirmed that he visited White House grounds and met with a secret source a day before he bypassed his own committee and alleged that communications of members of President Donald Trump’s transition were incidentally collected by U.S. intelligence.

Graham on Tuesday said that Nunes’ “objectivity” was in question and said Nunes has “lost his ability to lead” if he is not willing to share the information, and the identity of his source, with other members of the committee.

“It’s a mess. You know, Trey Gowdy, he had a good suggestion to Schiff,” Graham said Wednesday, referring to House Intelligence Committee member Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC). “Give us the witnesses you want to interview and let’s interview them.”
