A top Donald Trump aide suggested Wednesday the team behind former Gov. Jeb Bush’s failed presidential campaign is now running Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) bid for the White House.
National Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said the GOP “establishment” would continue to use Cruz as their “Trojan horse” to force a brokered convention.
“They’ve admitted it, they’re not hiding it,” Pierson said. “The Bush people are now running Sen. Cruz’s campaign.”
She cited Neil Bush, one of Jeb Bush’s younger brothers who recently joined Cruz’s finance team last month.
After losing Tuesday’s Wisconsin GOP primary to Cruz by double digits, Trump’s campaign put out a statement calling the senator “worse than a puppet – he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump.”

Syntax…oy.
Trojan horse
This doesn’t mean anything until we hear it from Scottie Nell Hughes. Besides, Pierson wasn’t even wearing her Bullet Necklace of Truth™.
Hell, Trump’s people should be happy about that – Neil Bush … and finance? LOL!!! Watch your money, Ted – 'cuz the American taxpayere won’t be stepping in to clean up any of Neil’s messes this time!!
If that’s true - considering how the Bush team ran Jeb’s campaign - they ought to be thrilled.
