Ohio Gov. John Kasich won’t attend the Fox News Republican presidential debate scheduled for Monday after Donald Trump said he wouldn’t participate, according to tweets by Kasich’s political consultant.
Trump announced Wednesday that he wouldn’t attend the debate because he had already scheduled a speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). John Weaver, a consultant for Kasich, tweeted that the Ohio governor would attend if “Trump changes his mind.”
“No surprise Trump avoiding contrast,” Weaver tweeted.
No debate in SLC Monday due to Trump backing out. No surprise Trump avoiding contrast. Utah: @JohnKasich headed your way Fri.

If Trump changes his mind — as Carson said there are 2 Trumps — we will be there. Positive contrasts nicely with division. #Sybil

In other words, they don’t need Fox anymore.
Cruz debating the moderator, alone, for 90 minutes is a Cruz wet dream. Maybe Cruz could read “The Cat in the Hat.”
Good job giving that windbag asshole Drumpf some cover, John.
This political episode in Kasich’s career is over. IF he wants to go on to 2020, he can leave this circus in the rear view mirror.
Good call by Trump. The debates are just free advertising for Kasich and Cruz from this point on…
