Jon Stewart used Monday night’s episode of “The Daily Show” to issue one final broadcast as Juno, the blizzard-that-wasn’t, approached New York City.

“Those of you outside of the Northeast may not be aware of this,” the host said, “there is an enormous blizzard that is hitting our area currently.”

“My guess is if you are watching this program…New York is gone,” Stewart concluded.

Stewart said he hoped that didn’t end up being the case and expressed amazement that his studio audience showed up despite the blizzard warnings, as the crowd roared.

“This is an impression of me, if I was one of their friends, and they called me up to go see ‘The Daily Show’ today,” he said, getting into character.

“Yeah, fuck that,” he said.
