Thursday was Jon Stewart’s last episode of “The Daily Show” and 16 years worth of former correspondents and guests came to the Comedy Central’s World News Headquarters in New York to see him off.
Stewart began by saying even though Thursday was his last show, “The Daily Show” would still cover the Republican presidential debate with gusto. At first, however, he said he only had enough correspondents to cover the top three candidates.
That quickly changed.
First up were his current correspondents.

And then there was a correspondents group hug!

Cool that Craig Kilborn made an appearance. I was wondering if that might happen.
Are there any notable omissions? Former Daily Show people who should have been mentioned?
I wonder why the President wasn’t pictured.
Stacy Grenrock and Beth Littleford, though Beth was on the Kilborn show longer
Eh, Stewart may have added a little something to the discourse, he’s not anything to get all blubbery over.
He was kind of cool, sure, but he’s far from legendary or epic or a deeply ingrained part of our society that will be a huge loss to everyone.
JS is a mensch basically that has been doing menschy stuff for close to 2 decades and lets just say it, the mensch has worn off.
John Stewart can now move on to bigger and better things, like doing nothing because that is sooooooooo fun. Have fun Stewart and thanks for what little time you gave us.
