Jon Stewart returned Monday for his final stretch on “The Daily Show” to criticize the GOP for letting Donald Trump’s presidential campaign run this long.

Over the weekend, Trump said Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was “only a war hero because he was captured.” To which, Stewart replied, “What the fuck is wrong with him?”

Trump’s remarks on the POW became a uniting factor among GOP presidential candidates, but Stewart was not impressed with their collective condemnation.

“Yes, at long last, does the man who accused the vast majority of Mexican immigrants of being drug-addicted rapists have no sense of decency,” Stewart said.

But Stewart said he hopes Trump’s presidential bid doesn’t end just yet — even if Trump’s offensive comments about McCain may signal the beginning of the end of his campaign.

“I so love this man,” Stewart said. “I really feel like he’s some Jewish holiday waiting to happen.”

Stewart should announce that he is staying with the show as long as Trump is a candidate.

  2. His last show is in about two weeks. Odds are that’ll be long enough.

  3. I love the line like some Jewish holiday waiting to happen"

  4. I am going to miss John. His replacement seems lame.

  5. What’s wrong with tRump?

He is an obnoxious, blowhole, or in other words, a gop/bag…that’s what is wrong him!
