Jon Stewart on Thursday gave Louisana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) some tips on how to announce you’re running for President, not to mention how to make a decent YouTube video.

“The 2016 GOP race is filling up faster than the toilets at Arby’s,” the host of “The Daily Show” began. “Who’s it gonna be today?”

Stewart was unmoved to discover it was Jindal, who somewhat bizarrely cut an announcement video in which he announced to his family his plans to run for President.

It isn’t the most scorching promo we’ve seen in the race so far: One of his children gives a restrained thumbs-up, while the others remain silent.

“I am not a political scientist, I am obviously not a campaign manager,” Stewart said, “but I believe your campaign may be in trouble when you cannot carry a majority of your immediate family.”

The host pointed out that Jindal’s kids seemed more intrigued by other things going on in the family’s backyard.

“Look there’s a turtle over there!” one of Jindal’s sons said at the conclusion of the announcement video.

Stewart, investigating the turtle claim, revealed it was none other than Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
