Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stayed diplomatic when asked on Thursday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” about the string of odd comments — including that the Egyptian pyramids were used to store grain — by Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson in recent days.
“We’ll just have to wait and see how that turns out,” she said. Clinton laughed when host Jimmy Kimmel suggested she say “crazy” things to get support.
“Seriously, it really does matter what you’re saying when you are president and it probably should matter what you say when you’re running for President,” Clinton said after Kimmel read a list of Carson’s out-there comments. “People all over the world, especially leaders of friends and foes alike, they pay attention to what presidents say. I really know we’re in the campaign season and people are saying all kinds of stuff. Some of which they believe, some of which they believe will get them votes, whatever the case might be, but then it does have to turn serious.”

Well, there she goes again acting like a grown-up.
Still.
How come Carson is polling ahead of her? She is terrific.
…Then I go and read the drivel that all 27 batshit crazy candidates on the other side say on a daily basis and weep for the country knowing that even still they will still get 45% of the electorate to vote for one of those fuckers just because of the ®.
Most people aren’t really paying attention.
Yet.
