Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign tweeted a video Friday afternoon that aimed to fact-check statements from Republicans and reporters alike about the private email account she used exclusively as secretary of state.
Clinton’s press team, as well as surrogates like Democratic operative James Carville, has worked aggressively in recent weeks to combat what it says is misinformation being spread about federal inquiries into the server that housed the private email account and the handling of sensitive information in connection with it.
Watch below:
About that email “scandal”—we fact-checked the tweets:

For example?
Heh. Josh has an editorial about how the email kerfuffle is a load of nonsense, and then TPM puts “Fact-Checks” in quotes.
Now this is what I call getting in front of an issue. “Heck of a job there…!”
The game show music in the background of the video cracked me up. He should have ended by offering the inaccurate tweeters some Rice-a-Roni, the San Francisco treat.
Hint to the Clinton campaign, don’t fact check via video, nobody’s going to watch it or remember it, but if you tweet text, people can quickly get up to date and share it without spending 3 minutes watching a meandering video.
