At Least Two Dead in Explosion, Multiple Building Collapse Reported In New York

The New York Fire Department reported an explosion and multiple building collapse Wednesday morning on 116th Street and Park Avenue in Harlem.

Authorities said at least two people were killed and at least sixteen people were injured, according to the New York Times. The cause of the collapse is still unclear.

Officials also said Metro-North rail service was suspended in the area due to debris on the tracks, according to the Times.
