In a bizarre email, businessman and heavyweight conservative donor Foster Friess demanded that the Washington Post “scrub” its story on a misogynistic email chain connected to Daily Caller editor Tucker Carlson.

On Wendesday, Carlson’s brother, Buckley Carlson, had apparently accidentally cc’d a spokeswoman for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio in an email that referred to her as, among many other things, a “whiny little self-righteous bitch” with “extreme dick-fright.”

Buckley Carlson sent the profanity-laced email after being included on a chain in which a Daily Caller writer was mocking the spokeswoman for demanding a correction to an article.

Tucker Carlson later brushed off the chain, saying his brother “meant it in the nicest way.”

The Washington Post’s Erik Wemple decided to ask Friess, who has invested more than $3 million into the conservative site, about the conduct of the brothers Carlson.

The response was something out of Weird Twitter.

“Erik [Wemple Blog], I am embarrassed for you…..why would you take my time and for that matter…………Your time to concern yourself with what some private person says about someone he does not admire when Kurds,,,,,America’s boots on the ground,,,,, are being killed as you read this return email,” Friess wrote, according to Wemple.

Later on, Friess told Wemple to “scrub” the story.

“Scrub your story and lets figure out a way we could reconcile them. There is way too much nastiness and negativity in the world without sensationalizing it,” Friess wrote.

“You are too much of a nice guy to indulge in Jerry Springer issues. God bless, Foster***”
