A Hollywood, Fl. man accidentally shot himself in the buttocks on Sunday, according to the Sun Sentinel.
The man, who was only described as in his 20s, was cleaning his .38 caliber handgun when it fell to the floor and discharged.
“He banged on a neighbor’s door, and the gentleman called us,” Hollywood Police Lt. Derik Alexander said.
The man was taken to a local hospital as a trauma alert patient and his condition remains unknown.
“He is not going to be charged with anything,” Alexander added. “He was in his home. There was no foul play or suspicious incident.”
