Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) said he expects the FBI report on Brett Kavanaugh to be completed Wednesday or Thursday, citing the short length of the Clarence Thomas investigation as precedent.
It is not yet clear if the FBI report will be released to the public when it is completed, or only shown to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and their staff.

Tomorrow would be about 3 days longer than McGahn was stating via leaks to the news media. I think it goes through Friday and I would not be surprised to see it extended beyond.
“…completed Wednesday or Thursday, citing the short length of the Clarence Thomas investigation as precedent.” HUH?? HUH??
Guess the FBI is going to squeeze in the Dr. Ford interview on Friday, then?
Mr. Flake, you can either vote with the feckless craven bunch that you caucus with and disappear from history as a 1 term senator, or you can cement a historical legacy that true conservatives would be proud of…
The ball will be in your court very shortly…
According to the WaPo the FBI has interviewed only 6 people. No Swetnick or
her corroborators. None of the several people named by Ramirez who could corroborate her story. I saw somewhere—I think Seth Abramson’s twitter feed—that some 40 people have sought interviews but have been denied.
