To kick off an annual evangelical summit where Donald Trump will be speaking Friday in DC, Faith and Freedom Coalition Executive Director Timothy Head asked attendees that it be a “really respectful, honoring place” in his opening remarks Friday morning.
“Obviously this has been a spirited primary season and will continue to be a fascinating process as we move into the general session,” Head said, alluding to a GOP primary that broke all sorts of conventional norms, including the assumptions about evangelical voters.
Trump will speak at the event, being held at Washington’s Omni Shoreham Hotel, at about 12:30 p.m. ET Friday. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and former 2016 candidate Carly Fiorina are also scheduled to speak Friday.
Would he have asked for the audience to be “respectful” if Pres Obama was speaking?
“really respectful, honoring place” - Good one.
The Donald, heading to the podium:
That skit never gets old haha
EDIT: For crying out loud…Meyers was NOT playing a “differently abled” child in this skit, just a normal kid named Phillip who was spazzing on the end of his halter because he’s “hyperactive-hypoglycemic.” He played kids all the time, like when he did Simon, who liked to do “drawrings” while sitting in the bathtub with people like Danny DeVito. People are too fucking sensitive…it was just a play off what @steviedee111 posted.
Well, just because tramp is a liar, a racist and a fraud is NO reason to not treat him with respect, at least with the respect he shows Hispanics, women, Black people and anyone else who points out that he is unfit for any elected position.
