House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) has canceled a scheduled House recess next week.

He advised members that the chamber will be in session “through the week, and possibly the weekend, until the completion of the [continuing resolution]” that would keep the federal government open after Sept. 30, according to Republican leadership.
