Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) didn’t back away from her comments about Donald Trump during an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday night.
“We have an economy that is in real trouble. But when the economy is in this kind of trouble, calling on Donald Trump for help is like if you’re house is on fire, calling an arsonist to come help out,” Warren said.
Stephen Colbert asked if her Twitter tirade was stooping to Trump’s level.
“Come on, this isn’t name-calling. This is taking the credential that he claims he’s running on and that is his business success and saying, ‘No, buster, we’re not buying that,'” Warren told Colbert. “He is not a business success. He’s a business loser.”

Correction: The original version of this story listed Elizabeth Warren as a Republican. She is a Democrat.
Clinton won’t run for second term ( she will be 73)…guess who is gonna run??
can I get on the Elizabeth Warren 2020 bus now, please?
Come on TPM - Elizabeth Warren in NOT an R (Republican)! Don’t insult her intelligence.
When did Warren become a Republican? (She is not the Republican Senator from Mass, as the article currently says).
And Manziel, unless Clinton passes away, if she wins, she will likely run in 2020…
From your TPM article:
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (R-MA) didn’t back away from her comments about Donald Trump during an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday night.
Come on, Warren is not an R (Republican). Don’t insult her intelligence.
Now if you want to label Hillary as an R you’d have it correct - Hillary is a DINO.
