Trump Brushes Off Dip In The Polls: ‘I Haven’t Started Yet’

Donald Trump has taken a hit in national polls, with several this month showing him trailing Hillary Clinton, but the presumptive Republican presidential nominee says it isn’t a big deal.

“I’m four down in one poll, three and a half in another that just came out, and I haven’t started yet,” he told the New York Times Thursday night.

“And I have tremendous Republican support,” he added. “Unfortunately they never talk about that, they talk about the few rebels.”

In a handful of polls released in June, Clinton has maintained a lead over Trump, despite his dominance during the Republican primary.

Trump even shared a poll on Twitter on Friday that showed him trailing Clinton by three points with a message in all caps reading, “THANK YOU!”
