Donald Trump is scheduled tape an in-person interview on Saturday to air the following day during “Meet The Press,” NBC News announced on Wednesday.
The Republican presidential candidate plans to talk to NBC’s Chuck Todd in Iowa about “the presidential field, the economy, immigration and foreign policy,” according to NBC.
So Donald can, once again, do CBS, ABC, FOX and CNN…Didn’t command of the Sunday shows used to mean something?
Are Chuck TOAD’s ratings suffering so much that they have to get the cheif clown on their clown car show?
When will Chuck TOAD grow up? When will he challenge candidates from the Republican side on their lies, rewriting of history?
I think the answer to that is NEVER!
And to think, the NBC network had a newsmaker premier show in the 1950’s 1960’s, 1970’s that had REAL JOURNALISTS on it asking REAL quesions.
Now, NBC Universal and that one hour a week of MTP are just arms of the Republican Party, just a tiny little less obviously so than Fox News 24/7/365.
The open question this brings to mind is, will this be Todd kissing The Donald’s ring, or him trying to bait Trump at the behest of the “serious people”…?
I don’t even know if “the Donald” wears a ring. But right now, “the Donald” is Pope of Republican malcontents and under-educated voters.
So, sure, Chuck, kiss his ring, or his feet, or just roll over and give the microphone and camera over to “the Donald” to get Meet the Press’ s ratings out of the sewer Chuck put them in during the last few months.
Well that will be a colossal waste of time if we think Chuck Todd will get anywhere with The Donald.
