When ABC “This Week” Host George Stephanopoulos asked Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Sunday how he would execute his wide-ranging immigration plan, the businessman repeated that it’s all about, “management.”
Trump’s immigration plan includes building a wall between the United States and Mexico and stopping a federal practice that automatically allows citizenship to those born in the country. The cost and feasibility of Trump’s plan has been criticized.
Stephanopoulos asked Trump to provide specifics of how he would execute this plan.
“It’s called management,” Trump told the ABC host in a live phone interview, adding that the United States is a country of laws and a country of borders.
Stephanopoulos again asked Trump to explain how he would execute his immigration plan.
“George, I’m telling you — it’s called management,” Trump reiterated.
To which Stephanopoulos said, “I still don’t hear specifics on how you want do this.”
“I’m going to get great people who know what they’re doing,” Trump responded.
Listen to the exchange:
I don’t understand TPM enabling what I predict is a looming effort to portray birthright citizenship as a right that doesn’t rise to the level of a Constitutional right. You refer to it as a “Federal practice”? Huff Post writers are calling it a “Federal policy”. Is the right to protection from unreasonable search and seizure a policy? The franchise for women and blacks a Federal practice? Since when the hell is a right clearly spelled out in a Constitutioal Amendment described as a policy?
He sounds like Bart Simpson bluffing his way through one of Mrs Krabapples classroom assignments.
He’s dumber than his hair.
Are you going to spam every thread with the same OT comment?
“I’m going to get great people who know what they’re doing,” What makes him think that Democrats will work for him?
