A group of a dozen Republicans gathered in Indianapolis on Tuesday night to talk about on the campaign of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to ABC News.
Trump and his GOP rival and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson both had the most support, at four people each.
One person supported Trump though, called him an “idiot,” according to the results of the focus group conducted by Democratic pollster Peter Hart on behalf of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania, ABC reported.
Lorinda Phelps, a a 34-year-old photographer, said Trump wasn’t “really a people person.”
“I can look over him being a jerk … as long as what he’s doing for the country is going to better my standard of living,” Phelps said, according to ABC. “I think the issues that he says he’s going to take care of outweigh the fact that sometimes he’s an idiot.”
Of those polled, 10 of the 12 said Trump was “divisive,” according to ABC.
ABC reported that one man called Trump “intolerant,” another said he was a “hothead.”
“He doesn’t listen,” a woman said.
