DC Mayor Calls Navy Yard Shooting An ‘Isolated Incident’

Washington, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray called a shooting situation Monday morning at the Navy Yard an “isolated incident.” Gray said in a press conference that a shooter entered building 197 at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) headquarters at approximately 8:20 a.m., was removed from the scene and then taken to the hospital.
