Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) attacked New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s weight (R) when asked by Boston Herald Radio on Monday to defend Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) stilted debate performance.
Issa said Rubio didn’t give his list of accomplishments because he wasn’t directly asked about them.
“He was told in a sort of domineering fashion by a slightly older, slightly overweight governor. OK, he wasn’t slightly, he’s a lot overweight. I’m in a position to understand that,” Issa said. “The fact is, if he’d been asked a question he’d have answered it.”
Issa added Rubio didn’t take “the bait” of “cheap shots.”
“I respect his being Reaganesque and instead of attacking back his opponent and berating him, he started talking about what he thought mattered,” he said.
Issa said Rubio would have been attacked even if he answered four different questions with four different answers.
Issa also repeated Rubio’s repeated phrase: “President Obama, he knows what he’s doing.”

There you go again, Darrel.
defense of a lightweight by attacking an overweight’s weight by another lightweight?
So sayeth a car thief and arsonist. He was so lucky not to have been court-martialed while he was in the Army- and that would have saved the country a lot of grief.
The douchebag calling the bidet white
If Issa thinks that a fat joke is an effective way to defend the indefensible, he’s even dumber than Rubot.
