In the aftermath of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s call for a “total and complete ban” on Muslims entering the country, “The Daily Show” made a startling conclusion about the real estate magnate.
Correspondent Hasan Minhaj said America was no longer safe from Muslims because of Trump and had a theory as to why.
“I have a second theory and I think this is where the evidence points: Donald Trump is an extremist leader who came out of no where. He’s self-financed, recruits through social media, attracts his followers with a radical ideology to take over the world and is actively trying to promote a war between Islam and the West,” correspondent Hasan Minhaj said.
“Oh my god, Hasan,” host Trevor Noah said. “He’s white ISIS.”
And Hasan confirmed: “Donald Trump is White ISIS. WISIS.”

More like yellow ISIS. He and his followers are scared witless by election year Republican propaganda against Muslims. With everything for businesses and nothing for people the GOP relies on fear and confusion to win votes. Trump is their head cheerleader.

I really liked this segment, though (as Stewart sometimes would in this kind of situation) he stopped short of going for the partisan jugular – so eager was he to point out the better angels of our conservative nature, he didn’t really go after people like Ryan who repeated that they were still willing to vote for Trump if he became the nominee.
