“Daily Show” host Trevor Noah asked Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), who is also the head of the Democratic National Committee, to explain if she really “cockblocked” Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) presidential campaign on Monday night’s episode.
“A lot of people feel that Bernie Sanders has been, and I’m going to paraphrase or really, quote Twitter rather, that Sanders is being cockblocked by the DNC,” Noah said. “Is there any merit to this?
“As powerful as that makes me feel, I’m not doing a very good job of rigging the outcome or blocking… anyone from being able to get their message out,” Wasserman Schultz said. “The reality is I have a job as a national party chair that is one that requires a thick skin. It requires me to absorb the body blows so our candidates can stay above the fray.”

I really miss Stewart.
I want to know the names of the other three Sanders staff who were spying on Hillary’s data in that data breach that the Sanders staff were screeching about, saying how victimized they were, even though Hillary was the victim. The fourth was fired, but we have a right to know the names of the other perps. Why is it a secret? Was Sanders himself one of them? Or even his own family members who work on his campaign? His wife was involved enough roughly about a dozen years ago on his Senate campaign, from what I’ve read, that she collected $30,000 in salary, so we know she plays a big role in his campaigns.
Cockblocked? He really said that? What a moronic thing to say. I haven’t heard or read about that word in ages. He outta be sanctioned for that term.
They are just “too busy” to bother will silly little things like being transparent. Thus, no completed tax returns have been released.
Neither have his speeches and interviews in Cuba and Nicaragua. Hell, he only released a vague high level healthcare plan hours before the final debate in Iowa, even though he promised to do so weeks earlier. And then he promptly changed it the next day.
So no, based on his past, I wouldn’t hold my breathe waiting for Sanders to release any personal or campaign information.
I miss Stewart too, Trevor is nice enough but just a little off, Seth Meyers is getting better and better, not to mention Sam B.
