Hillary Clinton is projected to defeat Bernie Sanders in Maryland primary Tuesday, where polls had shown her leading the Vermont senator by healthy margins. Her victory was projected at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Her campaign touted the endorsement of dozens of prominent figures in the state, including state legislator and community leaders, many of whom were backing Clinton even when former Gov. Martin O’Malley (R) was still in the presidential race.
Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) is one of Clinton’s most vocal supporters. Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) had also publicly aligned themselves with Clinton.
Sanders has scored some support from Maryland figures, including the endorsement of some civil rights activists in the states.
Sanders hosted a rally in Baltimore over the weekend, while Clinton made appearances in the state earlier this month.
Drip, drip, drip And according to PA primary, high african american voter turnout.

Oh yeah. This is where it’s going.
Maryland was never in doubt. The margin is the only issue. If she wins with 60+%,she’ll net more delegates in MD than in PA.
