Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy spokesman called Donald Trump out in rather explicit terms on Sunday night after the Republican nominee said during the second presidential debate that a Muslim soldier killed in the Iraq War would still be alive if he was commander in chief.
“Go fuck yourself,” Jesse Lehrich wrote on Twitter regarding Trump’s comments on Humayan Khan, whose parents appeared at the Democratic National Convention this summer in support of Clinton.

Lehrich followed up soon after with an apology for the “inappropriate nature and language” of his tweet.

Trump engaged in a weeks-long war of words with the Khan family this summer after they accused him of having “sacrificed nothing and no one” from the DNC stage.

I agree that his words were highly inappropriate.
What he should have said is, “Go fuck yourself, you gutless draft-dodging weasel. You’re not fit to carry Humayan Khan’s shoes, nor anyone else’s shoes that are serving our country in uniform.”
