Hillary Clinton pounced on the opportunity during Thursday’s debate in Brooklyn to point out that there had not been a single abortion question in the nine Democratic presidential debates.

Clinton was answering a question about whether she would support President Obama’s nomination for the Supreme Court when she made her the point about the absence of abortion questions.

“We’ve had eight debates before, this is our ninth. We’ve not had one question about a woman’s right to make her own decisions about reproductive health care, not one question,” Clinton said, adding that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at one time said that women should be punished for seeking an abortion if the practice were to be outlawed.

The two Democrats were asked about abortion policy in their respective appearances in a town hall hosted by Fox News, but not in any of their sanctioned debates.
