Chuck Todd is slated to interview President Barack Obama on Sunday as the newly-minted moderator of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the network announced Thursday.
The interview is expected to cover news of the day including the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, relations with Russia and Ukraine, the Ebola outbreak, and midterm elections.
Todd’s first question: “Sir, some say you haven’t reached out to Republicans enough in your two terms. Would you say that was the major reason why some people call your Presidency a catastrophic failure?”
Todd’s second question: “That John McCain: What a statesman, amirite?”
“Mr. President, do you think you owe the nation an apology for wearing that tan suit?”
“Do you accept accountability for the situation in Iraq you created? Have you figured out a strategy yet?”
“Do you have any regrets for not kissing enough Republican ass?”
“It really is all your fault, isn’t it?”
MORE TODD: “Now, let’s talk about that pesky deficit you brought with you to the inauguration in 2009…”
“Mr. President, does your Manchurian Candidate background as the ISIS sleeper agent for the destruction of America conflict with your Communo-Socialist Plans to Destroy our Republic?”
Why, why, why give the ultimate “false equivalence” “reporter” this kind of support? Todd is a gossip mongering opinion talking head who will make for ratings (maybe) but not for an educated viewer.
