New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s (R) focus remains clear: victory at the New Hampshire primary. To that end, the Republican presidential candidate released a new TV spot on Wednesday urging Republicans to unite lest Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton be inaugurated.

The 30-second ad opens with a title card saying, “Marco Rubio is Attacking (sic) Governor Chris Christie,” referring to the attacks and criticisms against Christie launched by a super PAC supporting Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). It then pivots to Christie speaking at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire, where he said unification is a “profound moral duty” for Republicans.

“Do not be fooled. Any significant division within the Republican Party leads to the same awful result: Hillary Rodham Clinton in January of 2017 taking the oath of office as president of the United States,” Christie said. “This country cannot afford that outcome, and thus we Republicans have a duty — I believe a profound, moral duty — to work together.”

The ad is scheduled to run statewide, according to Florida Politics. The cost of the ad buy was unclear.

Christie is polling 11.3 percent in the New Hampshire Republican primary, according to Real Clear Politics. He is behind Donald Trump, Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
