Republican presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Sunday called Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton “a disgrace” for comments she made about Republicans Thursday.
Clinton compared Republicans to terrorist groups when it comes to women’s rights during a campaign stop.
“Extreme views about women? We expect that from some of the terrorist groups. We expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world,” Clinton said. “But it’s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be the president of the United States.”
Christie responded to her comments on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.
“Well, there’s a uniter, isn’t it? Comparing Republicans to terrorist groups. There’s a real uniter. That’s the woman you want sitting in the Oval Office to bring our country back together,” Christie told Wallace. “That’s a disgrace, and she’s a disgrace. She’s a disgrace for saying that, for comparing Republicans to terrorist groups. Don’t let her go on that, Chris. That’s awful.”
“I was no where near Iowa at the time,” Wallace responded.
Clinton was in Cleveland, Ohio.

Disgrace “you betcha”

Because Christie is all about unity.
I guess if she just said Republicans want the terrorists to conquer America, like Republicans say of Obama, that would have been acceptable to Christie.
Christie’s Trump impression comes a bit late as does outrage from all the sputtering outrage machines. Outrage should be reserved for the tragic aftermath of Bush/Cheney hubris flooding into Europe.
I would rather have a Presidential candidate treat the majority of the USA population with the respect that their bodies, their lives, and their ability to have a choice matters. Does Christie not understand that the GOP legislators have had more votes on telling women that their choices, their experiences, and lives don’t matter? Don’t terrorists define the other as not worthy of respect?
