New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is done talking about fellow Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump – so stop asking.

When jokingly asked how much he’d love to stop talking about billionaire Trump in a radio interview Friday, which was first flagged by BuzzFeed, Christie said “I don’t answer it anymore.”

“That’s my position. I don’t comment on his comments. It’s just not worth the time,” he said.

On whether Trump’s blunt style has taken the fire out of Christie’s tell-it-like-it-is reputation, Christie said: “I’m happy to stand by my record and what I’ve done in New Jersey and how our particular brand of being blunt and direct and telling the truth actually works toward getting things done.”

Trump quickly set the tone for his 2016 campaign with outlandish, frequently derogatory comments about immigration, and he’s relished any opportunity to hit back at the critics in his own party. After Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) described Trump as a “wrecking ball” who has hijacked the immigration debate last week, Trump gave out the senator’s personal cell phone number during a speech in Graham’s home state.

When a fundraiser for Gov. Scott Walker’s (R-WI) campaign sent an email calling Trump “DumbDumb,” the one time-reality star mused “I can finally attack” during an event in Iowa.
