Carly Fiorina took a jab at Donald Trump this week, noting that his recent comment about her “face” was sexist.

During an interview with CNBC’s John Harwood published on Wednesday, Fiorina said that she has faced sexism since launching a bid for president, citing Trump’s remark as an example.

“Donald Trump has said many things about other candidates,” she said. “But he has not talked about their appearance.”

She also mentioned a question posed on “Fox and Friends” in April, when one of the hosts asked if a woman’s hormones disqualify Fiorina from serving as president.

Over the weekend, Fiorina referenced Trump’s comment about her appearance at a National Federation of Republican Women event in Phoenix, telling the audience, “This is the face of a 61-year-old woman. I am proud of every year and every wrinkle.”

While watching the news with a Rolling Stone reporter, Trump made a comment about Fiorina’s appearance, exclaiming, “Look at that face!”

Fiorina also told CNBC that she will go after Trump in her campaign, specifically his business record.

“Mr. Trump’s going to be hearing quite a lot from me,” she said.

I’m so tired of these anti-women Republican women pushing legislation that would throw most of us back into the dark ages, and then whining that someone is being sexist. Sexism is what she’s selling. Her “I’m the answer to Hillary” is all about sexism and is geared to tap into the idea that women are all the same. It’s the same shameless gamble McCain took on Palin.

  3. For someone who derides Hillary for “playing the gender card,” Fiorina sure seems to like playing the gender card.

  4. I have mixed feelings about this… Fiorina has plenty of baggage to explain with Lucent and HP…

most of us have made fun of the dead possum Donnie Dipstick wears or the soulless dead eyes of some of Walker and sCruz…

does that put Fiorina off limits because she’s a woman… which, btw, hasn’t stopped any them describing Hillary…

its politics and sometimes politics is hardball…

  5. You beat me to it. I was just about to mention that I didn’t hear her talk about any other candidate’s hair.
