A group of armed squatters will hold a community meeting in Burns, Oregon Friday Arizona rancher LaVoy Finicum told the Oregonian Tuesday.
At the gathering, Finicum said that the armed milia will reveal its exit strategy and talk more about why they are still holed up at the refuge.
“I think there should be a dialogue,” Finicum said.
The group of armed militiamen has been occupying the Malheur Wildlife Refuge for more than a week despite calls from many in the community that they leave.
Since entering the refuge, the group –led by Cliven Bundy’s son Ammon Bundy- has destroyed part of a federal fence and ransacked government documents housed at the preserve.
The meeting is expected to be held at 7 p.m. Friday night, but a final location has not been determined.
I think they’ll be surprised at what the locals think.
I wonder if guns will be allowed at the meeting.
Only for the invaders.
I wonder if they’ll just mow down anybody who dares to speak out.
They’ll all be in one place, away from their hideout. That’ll be the time to get 'em.
