Republican presidential candidate and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson said Sunday that he didn’t think he had a “tough” Democratic opponent.
Carson, during an appearance, on ABC’s “This Week,” was asked by host George Stephanopoulos who he thought his toughest opponent was — Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders.
“I personally don’t think any of them will be very tough because it’s going to be such a clear-cut election,” Carson said. “We will be voting about whether we want a nation where the government is in control or a nation where the people are in control. I think it’s going to be crystal clear and the people will make a — a clear decision.”
Wow. The toughest opponent of all for the GOP will be objective reality.
Do you mean that if we take power away from the government, it will devolve upon all of us citizens equally? That’s excellent, because I was a little scared that if we took power from the government, there might be some super rich types who would be in a better position to fill the vacuum.
“We will be voting about whether we want a nation where the government is in control of women’s vaginas or a nation where the people are in control of their own sexual behavior.”
HTH, doc.
Carson: ‘The Democrats Don’t Have A ‘Tough’ Opponent In The 2016 Race’
He’s clearly looked around the room at Trump, himself, and the other incompetent republican candidates before arriving at this decision.
I bet we find out how tough our candidate is when she testifies before the wingnuts in Congress this week.
I have a feeling somebody is going to be ripped to shreds, and it ain’t going to be Hillary.
