A Republican ad released on Monday portrays Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ) as nothing more than a pair of legs in heels who will blindly follow President Obama’s lead.
The television spot, paid for by the National Republican Campaign Committee, shows a woman in a knee-length black dress and black heels, pacing back and forth with a suitcase.
According to the ad, Kirkpatrick carries “President Obama’s baggage.” The spot highlights her votes to raise the debt limit and for Obamacare, and quotes the congresswoman saying that she won’t “second-guess the president.”
According to a National Journal review, Kirkpatrick ranked among the top ten Democrats who most often buck the party line.
Watch the ad:
Since Andy Tobin does not live in Arizona’s First Congressional District, maybe he should get a suitcase and move to the district he hopes to represent.
I would love just once to have a private conversation with any Republican who’s grandstanding on the debt limit and ask him or her yes or no whether the government should pay the debts Congress incurs with its votes or whether it should crash the national and global economy. Yes or fucking no. No talking points and no bullshit. Yes or no. Just once, I’d love to call them on that crap.
Body parts, a beast of burden, and baggage. Pretty much sums up the whole Republican view of Women. They aren’t actually persons.
Guess this means that the DCCC can run one about Lindsey Graham.
(Wearing comfortable low heeled pumps, of course)
They STILL don’t get it in terms of what women (and men who care about women) find offensive.
