In a new web ad, Democratic Senate candidate Conner Eldridge ties his opponent Sen. John Boozman (R-AR) to Donald Trump’s misogynistic tone toward women.

The nearly two minute web ad features now-infamous quotes from Trump insulting women including him saying “a person who is flat chested is very hard to be a 10,” telling a female contestant on the Apprentice that “it must be a pretty picture you dropping to your knees,” and saying that Fox News’ Megyn Kelly’s had “blood coming out of her wherever” during a Republican debate.

The string of quotes is then followed by Boozman saying that “I’ll support the candidate regardless of who we pick.”

The ad is the latest in attempts to tie Republican Senate candidates to Trump. In Arizona, Democratic contender Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ) released an ad tying McCain to Trump earlier this year.

  1. The first of many, across the country. And a great way to start bringing the curtain down on this clown show.

  2. This may dissuade Democrat and Progressive/Left leaning women from voting for Trump (or Boozman), were they inexplicably so inclined. It won’t work to deter GOP women however, they hate women more than Trump ever could.

  3. That’s okay, the hardcore RW women are a pretty small fraction of the voters and will always vote Repub.

  4. Women love Trump. Of course, he doesn’t own the Marina anymore. So maybe these women are not big fans anymore. Don’t know.

  5. This is one of, let me be clear, the first of, many, many efforts to tie Republican candidates, some of who are great let me tell you, and some of who are, well, sad, to my coattails, the finest, and I mean the finest, coattails in the history of Presidential elections. You can take my word, believe me, just watch the effect it will have on their numbers. Huge effect, I promise you. Huge.
