A man in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula accidentally shot himself in the hand and ended up killing his dog in the process, according to police.
The bullet went through the man’s hand and killed the dog, authorities told the Associated Press.
On Saturday police responded to a 911 call in Iron Mountain, Michigan concerning the shooting, according to Michigan’s WLUC-TV.
The man was taken to Dickinson County Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
