More than 200,000 people gathered in Egypt’s famed Tahrir Square on Tuesday to protest President Mohammed Morsi’s decrees granting him broad autocratic powers, the Associated Press reports. The protest’s size was comparable to the daily rallies that led to the ouster of then President Hosni Mubarak almost two years ago.
