Herman Cain likes numbers. I mean really likes numbers: in addition to his 999 plan there’s a whole chapter of his book just devoted to how he sees the number 45 everywhere. So the date of his sexual harassment settlement is quite the cosmic coincidence.
Per Politico:
Joel Bennett, the attorney for one of the women who complained about Herman Cain at the National Restaurant Association said Friday that his client’s settlement was dated in September of 1999 and signed by the trade group’s general counsel but not Cain.
