So what if a new national poll shows Republican voters no longer want Herman Cain to be their nominee? The scandal plaguing Cain will not go away quite yet.
This afternoon, Gloria Allred — the attorney representing Cain accuser Sharon Bialek — will host another press conference related to the Cain saga, this time with Bialek’s ex-boyfriend.
“The witness is a pediatrician. He was the former boyfriend of Bialek,” reads a press statement from Allred. “He met Mr. Cain with Bialek and she told him that Cain had engaged in inappropriate touching of her shortly after the alleged incident took place.”
Cain has said he doesn’t know Bialek and has dismissed her allegations that he reached up her skirt in a parked car back in 1997.
The Allred press conference is scheduled for 2 PM Eastern.
